The mission of the Training and Placement Cell is to help students clarify their educational and career goals as well as acquire employment-seeking skills and ultimately attain desired employment. This mission will be accomplished through building partnerships with Students, Alumni, Faculty members, Employers and the Community.
The Placement Cell is dedicated to advise students on career options and provide the latest information on summer training opportunities and employment vacancies. Being an integral part of the 'Counseling Services', the Training and Placement Cell in addition to individual counseling, runs seminars and group sessions covering career choice, interview skills, group discussion skills, preparing resumes and drafting job applications. A major thrust of the Training and Placement Cell is to constantly link with the businesses and industries to update prospective employers with the skill levels of the students and secure commitments for placements.
We at Murti Devi Memorial College believe that educational institutions should have strong links with the industry, so that current industry practices as well as technologies can be disseminated amongst the student community, since our inception, we laid a strong emphasis on developing long lasting relationship with various reputed industrial hours by conducting Guest lectures, Technical workshops, Industry institute interaction, seminars etc.
